  1. Well, people...

For those of you following her blog and checking her comments -- our Ruth is officially on her way!!!

After hanging late last night watching Madama Butterfly (with a thankfully-short death scene at the end, unlike the usual chunky-chicks with tuberculosis belting out that last aria for 30 minutes after the knife goes in...) Sharon, Bill, Laura and I saw her off in the lobby at 7:00am... Her driver arrived pretty promptly (I think he was there by 7:16 for his 7:15 pick-up...)

And she left us. For four months. Yes, we all got hugs, but it's not the same...

Bon Voyage, Ruth!!! Have the journey of a lifetime!!! We'll all be living vicariously through you for the next four months...

Love, Steve (& my princess, of course...)

  3. Well Ruthie, you have a real nice time, and remember to charge more than the $10.00 per dance when you do the next set of table dances aboard ship.
You are still the talk of humbolt Tenn, at the local Ihop.
    Have fun

  4. Annette, Ralphie and I hoisted a few cups at FirstWok Sunday evening to cheer you on your way. Ralphie grumbled at "not being invited", and when ALP and I started in on Cabo 2010, he added "Again!!!" to his grouses.

Have a wonderful time. This blogging stuff can be a chore for us elderly. I still can only see one party picture... But I'll get better with practice - after Cabo.

Miss you and am eager to hear (and see) all.

  5. Geezerette,

You are right - this blogging stuff IS a chore for us elderly. I only posted one picture with Steve's help on the day before I left (a little late for blog training). Fortunately, he is only an email away & I have finally managed to post 3 pictures from Sunday and Monday. I expect to improve with practice!

  6. Hello big Sis, I love your blog, keep up the terrific work. It sounds like your having a great time; we are so pleased your enjoying yourself. I did post another comment; guess I don't know what I am doing, as it is gone. No big deal we just wished you the best. I really like the pictures of you in front of some of the very significant statues that is really neat. I have always liked those type of pictures. It looks like your going to have a lot of pictures; the offer to put them on a Playable DVD still stands. Br good, Have fun, the weather has started to show a few signals that it might warm up a little before your return.
